The "Convergence of Energy" was an evening event at The Portico Cafe in Tampa, FL. The event was in collaboration with Joe's Art Time, a local art therapy group focused on making arts accessible in the Tampa communities. The event had an art show, an open mic, and featured a special, limited drink called the "Convergence of Energy." Along with my classmates, I designed a coffee cup sleeve, and produced 100 sleeves to be placed on the featured drink for the event.

process

Prior to the event, every member of my team went through the first Design Thinking steps (empathize, define, ideate, and prototype) to create many different prototypes of the cup sleeve. After speaking with the client, we narrowed our ideas down to this single concept, of "energies" converging to a single point on the map, which is the address of The Portico Cafe, with the name of the event on the opposite side. From there, my team and I produced 100 cup sleeves in one week before the event.
